EK9: Hood Rod removed, suspension, upgrade tomorrow

Here we go. Time to prepare the EK9 for summer, right? 🙂
1) Thanks to Ek9.org Member “ek9ctr” who made a great write-up for dummies like me, i was able to remove the hood rod today, something i wanted to do for a while now..
– This is how it looked before:

– and how it looks now:

2) I’ll bring the car to my garage for installing a few parts that have been laying around here for a few months now 🙂
3) As JIC Magic doesn’t produce the cool race suspension i was thinking about anymore, and i still don’t want to install a Tein, or Tanabe or something other common, i’ve been looking around for an a street legal alternative (means i need swiss documents) and then i found the CST – Circuit spec tune suspension made by Doall in Japan. They look great, internet told me they’re pretty good and almost similar to the tein flex. exactly what im looking for, checking the prices and more now from the “special” swiss dealer 🙂
