FRIENDS: Jerome’s Datsun Violet A10 SSS (Datsun 160J)
At the classic car parts shop i was last week i met jerome petitjean. His family runs the famous swiss zcarracingteam which races hillclimbs in a pretty wild 240Z, but also restored a lot of nice Z’s, hakosukas and other datsuns. He also owns a nice 510.
But at the parts shop he arrived with his daily Datsun Violet A10 SSS (Datsun 160J). Pretty nice car for a daily driver. made some shots of it and thought you might like to see them:

HI this is the most beautiful Datsun, my dad had once this car exacly this color !! I wish to find this model and I would buy it it would be a great present to my dad, we all loved this car.
Do you think this model could be add to sell?

Hi Adam, where do you live? I think this is the only one still running in switzerland and due to the fact the owner is a pretty big Datsun nut i don’t think he sells it. You might try your luck in Portugal, they have a lot of these old jap’s. And i think in some countries it might be easier to find these not-so-top-of-the-line models. they’be become pretty rare here because nobody thought it would make sense to keep these cheap japanese daily drivers back in the days…

Actually this is the only one i’ve ever seen. Not even found one for sale on the usual internet channels. i’m sorry. will be hard to find, but i’m sure you’ll find one 🙂
