• EJ9: New tires and steelies

    Had some heavy vibrations on my daily EJ9’s winterwheels due tue a big unbalancable inbalance due to a hit one day πŸ˜› One day i came a cross a cheap set of OEM steelies so today i went to visit my friend Lars to swap the tires and have a lesson in tire-swapping, changing tire-valves and balacing wheels. thanks a lot for taking your time – learned a lot today and was kinda fun πŸ™‚ Ej9 Loaded with 2 complete sets of wheels / tires: Changing them πŸ™‚ Need to make a spotlight on Lars’ Slalomracing SW20 MR-2 fun tool πŸ™‚

  • 240Z: Wire harnesses out, windscreen out, interieur stuff out

    Spent some 90 minutes sweatin’ at the garage at today’s hot fall day πŸ™‚ And im seriously happy with my progress today, because i’m almost done with everything above the floorpans πŸ™‚ 1) First ripped out some interieur stuff: 2) Then removed the engine wire harness: 3) The interieur wire harness plus the fuel tank sensor harness: 4) removed the windshield (ony my own, without breaking it :D) and this is how it looks now.     UPDATE: The Mazda grille is sold, the Corolla grille is still up for sale πŸ˜‰ I Initially bought these grilles at a car parter for decorating my home, but thought i’d sell them to any enthuisiast which needs it for a build. They’re both in great condition but need some touch up (polishing the chrome pieces, touch-up at the emblems, probably a respray).
