• HISTORY: The story of Datsun, Nissan & Prince Switzerland – Part 5 “The Headquarter & Organization”

This is the fifth part of a multi-post series about the (hi)story of Datsun, Prince and Nissan in switzerland.  Check out the other parts HERE. In this post we take a deep look at the Datsun Suisse headquarter in Urdorf and how they were organized. Where did the new cars come from? Where were the spare parts stored? How did they operate? • 240Z: Door hinge repair kit, 1971 colour chart, competition manual and other Documents

Recently i collected a lot of stuff again, which i want to share with you. I got a bunch of documents from my mate Stefan again, thanks a lot for your great support, as usual. first an Datsun special tool catalogue from the late 60ies: A bunch of late 60ies spare parts bulletins: And also a bunch uf “Nissan service journal” (pre-service bulletin) from the same era. I also got myself one of those swiss promotional Datsun jo-jo’s, which were giveaways from Datsun switzerland back in the day. I already own one, but since it has some cosmetic flaws and came without the thread, i got this one too now…

A few days ago the delivery arrived: The first thing was a set of “Premium” floor mats. You have to buy the whole set and even if they’re called premium, the quality is honestly quite cheap. at least if you look at the bottom side.. This is was the…

You won’t notice it if you don’t know, but since i look into this mirror everytime i drive the car, it always hurt me. When i asked Honda in japan, they said they had exactly one piece left in stock, so i absolutely had to get it. Luckily i once also bought a set of interieur plastic removal tools, so to take the cover (with the sensor) off was a piece…
