    The story of the Prince Motor Corp aka PMC-Mikado in switzerland is quite short-lived and therefore information about it pretty rare.   • GARAGE: The build is finally done!

    Keen readers may have read a few times about the build of my House / Workshop and Garage. The build was about 90% complete since a while, but the missing 10% always bothered me a bit. With other priorities ahead, i decided to complete the project, so i can finally focus on my cars, my exams and my other projects.     Well, it’s that time of the year again, i guess 🙂 Dear readers. I Know blogs are a bit outdated, but after trying several  other social media and things, i still believe that blogs are the best way to represent such content. I therefore want to thank you for following me another year and hope you enjoyed it. 2022 will definitely be a hectic year for me, like 2021 was. with some great job opportunities, which also means more responsibility there.     Recently i ran into a NOS lot for sale again. Turns out a still active Nissan dealership in germany is cleaning out his parts warehouse and wanted to get rid of all the old parts without any stock movement. Well, i signed up for the whole package and got the deal. It were not exactly many parts, but some really nice scores and some parts are not very common to find NOS.     Soo, after a long wait, this week a sea-freight pallete straight from Japan (via the netherlands) finally arrived at my doorstep. My EK9 didn’t pass the swiss MOT (MFK) this summer, but only a few minor things weren’t good. But thinking about fixing them, and at the same time having a pallete in japan reserved because of some bigger Datsun part shipment, i thought it would make sense to give the humble TypeR a bigger overhaul and fix a few other flaws as well.   • HISTORY: Datsun Switzerland 1968 and 1979 Brochure

    In my never-ending task to uncover the complete history of Datsun (Suisse) SA in Switzerland, i try to collect all the annual catalogues of the Datsun-years. Meanwhile i got quite the collection, but there are still some  holes. Luckily i was able to obtain another two pieces which were missing. Today a set from 1968 and 1979 arrived here: This is my collection meanwhile (+ this one, which is framed, so i couldn’t get it on the picture). Now i hope to find some rare ones from the early 70ies (the 240Z years), which are still missing and i haven’t really seen so far.

  • 249Z: NOS rocker arms & Complete intake setup

    I recently collected a few different Carb insulator setups. mainly  just because i first got the wrong ones, and then some more 🙂 Left to right. Original Datsun PHH44, but for the U-series (Fairlady) Engine, PHH44 L-series replica, PHH40 (L-series) Replica: The main difference between the U and L-shaped items are a slight offset in the stud position (see left) What also came in one of those deliveries was a set of NOS rocker arms.
