EVENT: Tokyo Auto Salon 2016 Part 9 – Nissan, Daihatsu & Suzukis
Welcome to the last part of my TAS ’16 showcase. Nissan, Daihatsu and Suzuki.
Nissan
Honestly one of the once biggest Sportscarmaker in Japan doesn’t really have something big in the lineup currently. Aside from the GT-R which was a huge success at the show most nissans were older cars or slightly modified daily cars. So it wasn’t a big surprise all non GT-R’s / Skylines were older chassis like the Silvia’s 🙂
Here two nice Dorifto S15’s from ZSS-racing
Yashio factory brought their 180SX to the show
as well as an S15 too..
Car modify Wonder had this nice red example with somehow interresting rear side vents in their booth 🙂
Next to it was this S14.A
T&E Vertex had this nice and simple S15 example at their booth
And this URAS kitted example was outside presented by drift tengoku 🙂
And another S15 driftcar by Kids heart was waiting outside to do some demo-runs.
The last silvia in this series is this nice and rare S13 convertible i found inside 🙂
Of course it wasn’t all about silvia’s. MSY Garage had this Tomei powered new-day Skyline in their booth:
And somewhere i spotted this Fuga by an unknown company.
Happily i also found two of my alltime-favourite cars: The stagea RS. Cockpit Tatebayashi had this nice Orange example at their booth.
While this widebody example was at the takero’s stand (Sorry for the blurry pic).
Takero’s is famous for modifying wagons and vans in a very sporty way and also had this widened Nismo Note in their booth:
Daihatsu
Daihatsu was very well represented after bringing back their fun-Kei-roadster, the Copen and also the new Cast. Daihatsu and Sports branch D.Sport had a big l ineup of their new fun-cars:
And some parts for the new copen as well:
Speaking of copens, a company called “fake eight” also brought some bits for the new Copen:
Another company called Birichino specials had this GT-RR Alto in the Hello-Special booth styled to resemble an old works racing Hakosuka. quite interresting 🙂
Speaking of kei-tuner hello special they had all kind of funny Carry wagon’s, and Hijets 🙂
Same as Garage-Z1:
Suzuki:
Last but not least, Suzuki. As i remember right, they didn’t even haven an own booth.
A side from a few Kei cars which are not really noteworthy in the sea of crazy cars at TAS there was only one Suzuki swift by TopFuel. Really liked to see it because i really like suzukis.Â
Hope you liked the pix and next up is definitly some news about my cars again 🙂
