Should i..?

SHOULD I..? Kakimoto Hyper 80-R, HKS Blow-through turbo kit, Sumitomo works MK63 brakes

Yeah, lately i looked through the interweb again and talked to my friend, so im currently thinking about a few ideas:

1) Kakimoto Hyper 80-R exhaust system (combined with my trust 6-2 header :D):
I Checked with local law and i will be able to have max 82dB legally here in switzerland. measured on idle at the rpm with most power and 7m distance to the microphone measuring it. Seems like this might be a bit too loud with circa 100dB (but i assume this is under full power). Love the flat black color:

Also found this video about a Z that seems to have this system. Nice sound πŸ™‚

2) Sumitomo / Nismo / Nissan Works MK63 brake kit:
these brakesΒ  have been used by nissan works race cars back in the days. spare parts ar still avialeble but i need to get hands on some genuine and rare calipers. 4-pot by the way, look really factory and shouldn’t get any trouble because no one know’s they’re not πŸ˜€ but they also have vented disks – great (Disks and pads avialeble aftermarktet..) Note there are different MK63 kits depending on the car and if the disk is vented or solid!!

Aftermarked disks and pads are avialeble from japanese tuner Victory50, Endless, etc..
Genuine maintenance parts are still avialeble through NISMO, except new calipers (sadly):

3) HKS Blow through turbo kit πŸ™‚
Well i really don’t want this but it’s so rare and cool, i had to show this, and a friend of mine who’s currently working on a Z-plan is thinking of building his project with one of these:
It’s actually a turbokit with a spacial intake manifold around the carb’s crazy πŸ™‚ Heard about cars which had about 450hp. but for my taste it’s a bit too much. anyway. can’t get more jdm than this πŸ™‚

The Sumimoto calipers look awesome, and of course – rare JDM parts are always a big WIN! However, there are far cheaper options available, Toyota 4Runner front brakes are used a lot stateside, there are several kits available. You can also use Maxima or Primera calipers for the rear, only 1 pot sliding calipers, though. My buddy as the 4Runner front brakes, and stock drums in the rear, and those brakes can take a lot of beating at the track…

Hi there πŸ™‚ Yeah as far as i know the toyota kit is also made by sumitomo (like genuine datsun brakes), but are called MA63 istead of MK63, but not sure. also have sean Mustang brake conversion kits and more. but somehow i like how the MK63 kit is a bit rare, oldschool and genuine nissan / Nismo work’s team stuff from back in the day.. also note that nismo still sells spare-parts πŸ™‚

I saw parts of that Intake Manifold on YAJ last year, and I saw the exhaust very recently, very nice pieces. Maybe that intake manifold can be used with a ITB setup, that would be Boss!
