I’ve been thinking about the possibility to lower my Z on adjustable coilovers but all the options i found where somewhat expensive JDM-stuff without documents for swiss street-legalization or either cheap US-crap self-welding solutions. So when i picked up my Tein coilovers for my EK9 i reminded myself that there was the opportunity to get custom TEIN Coilovers made out of the standard coilovers. And the best thing they’d come with swiss documents if i handle it together with the swiss tein importing company. Only one problem: They cost almost as much as i paid for the entire car 🙂 Here are some pics from the TEIN japan Homepage:

Here we go, another “should i?” post. Recently found this Bride histrix seat and remember seeing them in an old bride catalogue. Sadly not many of them out in the market and out of production since 3-4 years they will be seriously hard and expensive to get: Another item i’m definitly looking forward to order soon is this Koyo racing radiator. It’s been a while since i bought some parts for my EK9 and thought it might need an update as well.. here are some options i like: 1) Seltz Japan Titanium hood rod / Do_luck Japan rear cross bar Ok, the Titanium hood rod was a joke, since i don’t need any hood rod now more, but i like the idea, creativity and looks of it. The do-luck rear cross bar have been on my mind for a while now, but im not sure if it makes any sense or not.. 2) Rigid Alpha Japan stabilizer bars: really like these, but i feel like there are parts with higher priority…

Yeah, lately i looked through the interweb again and talked to my friend, so im currently thinking about a few ideas: 1) Kakimoto Hyper 80-R exhaust system (combined with my trust 6-2 header :D): I Checked with local law and i will be able to have max 82dB legally here in switzerland. measured on idle at the rpm with most power and 7m distance to the microphone measuring it. Seems like this might be a bit too loud with circa 100dB (but i assume this is under full power). Love the flat black color: Also found this video about a Z that seems to have this system. Nice sound 🙂…

Please forgive me the lack of updates the last few days. As you might know im a real sucker for those japanese hardcore underground aftermarket car parts barely anybody in the world knows. So when i stumbled upon the site of 09racing.com you can be sure my heart skipped a beat or two! I think i really need to get one of those carbon fiber, autoclaved classic Nismo racing style mirrors: what a piece of art!
