• 240Z: Rare vintage german tuning catalogue + 1981 Sales brochure

Well, i found some interesting Datsun related documents again: The first one is a swiss market 1981 Datsun sales brochure, with the complete lineup: The interesting part here is that it also includes vehicles from the “Datsun undustriemaschinen” subsidiary comanpy, which are forklifts, the Datsun Homer and Urvan. Then i found this rare Z & ZX Accessproes cataöpgie om germany. A rare Z-related vintage tuning catalogue from the early 80ies: It features all kind of aftermarket and Official datsun competition components. It seems like they imported the parts from  Japan directly: The owner of the company was Andreas Günther, And it was located in Berlin. It is 20 pages strong,…

  • EK9: Swiss Civic 99-00 Hatchback sales brochure

A while ago i realized i don’t own a singlel Swiss Civic 99-00 Hatchback document, despite the fact i’ve owned a few of those over the years. So i immediately went to search for one and after a few weeks i finally found one for sale and had to get it. Asie from the usual marketing figures and pictures, it also shows some references to the NSX NA1 And the Specsheet of the various versions available in switzerland, the 1,4LS (EJ9), the 1,5LS (EK3) and 1,6VTi versions (EK4). It’s kind of funny i both owned the lowest spec and highest spec of all those versions. It also shows a little…

  • HISTORY: The story of Datsun, Nissan & Prince Switzerland – Part 1 “Prince”

This is the first part of a multi-post series about the (hi)story of Datsun, Prince and Nissan in switzerland.  Check out the other parts HERE. Part 1 is about the Prince / PMC (Prince Motor Corporation) / PMC Mikado brand in switzerland. I decided to start with this, since it’s the shortest and probably simplest story of them all. UPDATE: This post got updated in December 2021 with my various new official document finds and pictures thereof: Here’s a brief history overview about the Company A.P. Glättli, that was the import-company of the Prince brand in switzerland, based on the commercial register Entries i found: – In early 1929, Mr.…

  • NEWS: New Car related Instagram Account

I’m currently reorganizing a few things social-media wise, and decided to split my Personal and car related stuff. The previous instagram account  @JDMjunkies.ch is from now on only for my private stuff (cooking, photography, etc..) While the new @JDMjunkies.ch_offical is now only about this website and my car projects. I’ll try to rename the old account at some point to avoid confusion, but it seems to be tricky to find a good account name 🙂 Make sure to follow (and or unfollow) the right accounts to stay updated. Going back to regular car related posts soon, once i’ve sorted out all of this 🙂

  • NEWS: JDMjunkies new Business cards & news

I’m currently aligning a few things and as you can see a bigger rebranding is currently going on. After the website and the new loges, the next step was to create business cards. Even though i don’t own my own business anymore, it’s always nice to hand out your contacts to a fellow car guy. And since it’s dirt cheap to get business cards these days, i ordered myself a set: Front and rear Next will be some stickers, but these are a bit more expensive, so im still thinking about it. Step by step. More news soon…
