240Z: Small gauges removed
Had some free time so i decided to uninstall the gauges from the dash, to do a few measurements and thoughts about the future installation of some oldschool aftermarket gauges. Before: From behind: Removed 🙂 Out they are 🙂 And that’s how they look from behind: I always thought 52mm gauges will fit plug & play but the holes seem to be much bigger (like 80mm’s) does anybody know how to install 52mm gauges in a nice way? or does everybody use 60mm? I’m a bit confused… Thanks for any input and / or advice 🙂

240Z: Steering rack disassembly part 1
Found a few spare minutes today, so i decided to jump into the workshop suit and get something done. well my progress wasn’t that big, but at least i got something done 🙂 Steering rack before: Found these nice Genuine Nissan stickers underneath the steering rack boots: And that’s what it looked like after an hour. Was quite a task to remove the sticky busihngs and stuff, but the rest shouldn’t be that difficult after i’m soaking it heavily in WD40 now 🙂

FRIENDS: Nils’ BMW M3 & Benny’s R34 V-Spec II Skyline
Today i had Nils, a former blog-follower and nice contact visiting me to pick up a few parts and he brought his nice friend Benny with him. Of course i had to take a few shots of their rides. Skylines and BMW M3’s have become quite regulare sight’s on swiss streets, but it’s allways rare to see such mint, looked-after top-spec models. Really nice cars i’d love to own 🙂 Enjoy the pics 🙂

240Z: IPF Headlights, Autorefine stabilizers, Kameari & NISMO Mounts and Endless reservoir covers arrived
Whoohoow! After some delay by the postal service i finally picked up a BIG Package today. So what was inside? A bunch uf nice JDM goodies and parts: 1) A Bunch of Kameari Racing Goodies like reinforced Transmission mounts, engine mounts, Engine Brackets, Steering damper deleter, and a NISMO Differential Mount 🙂 2) A set of ENDLESS Reservoir tank covers (Just for fun :P) 3) A Set of Autorefine ARC Stabilizer bars (For Cars with Differentials), including bushings and installation parts… Update 2021: i just found an official Add in the August 1990 Carboy magazine for those ARC Autorefine Stabilizer bars, so i thought i’d add it here: 4) A…

EVENT: Oldtimer Teilemarkt 22.&23 March 2014, Fribourg (UPDATED)
I’ve heard about this event a few times, but mostly it sounded uninterresting because the main Focus is on rare european, Swiss and American classic cars and Bikes, but this year i figured out The swiss Honda club (including my mate Sven) are putting some honda classics on Display. EVENTS: 6th Japaner Old- & Youngtimertreffen – Gloten Sirnach
There aren’t many Events i support but there is one event i love and hope to attend (as a spectator :P) this year. The Annual 6th Japanese old- and youngtimermeeting in Gloten-Sirnach (Switzerland). The one and only event to go for swiss and guys from close germany / Austria if you’re into japanese classics! Great variety of cool oldschool J-Tin! See u there:

BUSINESS: Big Honda Delivery
Got a big delivery for a customer with a beautiful JDM RHD EG6 SIR II with swiss homologation. It was once used for hillclimb racing and is currently undergoing a rebuild as a legitimate JDM Streetracer car. After vacation, a few crazy weeks at my job, a rusted-through exhaust system on my daily car and a lot of other stuff going on, im happy to have some good news. I finally found some time for the fairlady again and i have a big Package of JDM-parts for the Zed coming in the next days. Thanks to heat and a copper hammer my stuck-for-weeks tierod end links came apart pretty easy and next step will be to rebuild the entire steering rack 🙂 Oh…

EK9: APEXi Power Filter, Spoon radiator stay, Toda racing flag
Nothing big, but at least i got some new parts for my EK9, which is still in winter-sleep mode 🙂 1) APEXi Power filter 2) Toda power flag for decorating my garage 🙂 3) Spoon radiator stay. It was called “white” colour on the spoon homepage, but actually it’s more aluminum colour so i won’t use it. just bought it because i was curious 😀 will put it up for sale soon 😉
