  • RACE: Bergrennen Oberhallau intl. Hillclimb Race 2011

In Switzerland Circuit racing is forbidden by law, since a big crash happened in france many years ago. So overe here we mostly enjoy Slalom, Rallye and Hilclimb (Which is really not safer than circuit racing). Anyway. Here at the north top of Switzerland we don’t have too much racing activities so once a year our local Hillclimb race is a really must-go! Racing activities are going in a lot of different categories. from Silhoutte cars like the one above. To old rallye cars like this famous Ex Group-B WRC Lancia who’s twin charged (Supercharger and Turbocharger!) . cars like these run between 500 and 800hp! Of course there are…

  • 240Z: Exhaust disasambly & garage cleaning

Whith racing activities near the local Bergrennen-Oberhallau Hilclimb race i felt like i have to work on my car today. tomorrow i’ll attend the hillclimb and make some photos. Anyway – my motivation got a little lost when i hadn’t really an idea what i could do at the moment so the only really useful thing i found to do was disasamble the old Exhaust πŸ™‚ complete: and disasambled: then i decided to give my chaotic garage a little clean-up.. Before: and after – way better πŸ™‚ if someone is there tomorrow, let me know. i’ll try to shoot as much cool stuff as possible and check the blog soon…

  • EK9: Steering wheel care

The weather was nice the last couple of days so i decided to take my EK9 out for a few rides and then i somehow felt the genuine MOMO EK9 Leather steering wheel wasn’t too fresh anymore. As the leather tends to break-up i decided to give it some Leather lotion to keep it smooth, shiny and fresh πŸ™‚ Before: Then bought some Leather-lotion: and after: Done:

  • OTHER: My next car?

Well as my old EJ9 daily gets really old and crappy and some rust spots come up here and there i thought it’s time to buy a new car next year and im now thinking about which car may be right: It needs to be japanese, sporty, cool, have good support by japanese tuners and parts-manufacturers and it shouldn’t be too old or expensive – here are my favourites: 1) Toyota / Subaru FT-86 Seems to be the “next big thing” from japan. but im a bit afraid of buying a brand new car. Otherwise it seems like t his car will get huge support from tuners around the world…
