  • EJ9: HondaHolics EK/EJ-Shooting from 2007

Well yeah, as my new Daily car will arrive soon my old daily beater will leave me soon as well. So i dug through some old archives and found these pictures from 2007, which Hondaholics member “Impurttuner” made back then. Still quite nice pictures. It’s obvously my Car was the only Non-EK while all the others were the real deal EK4. However Looking at the pics make me remember how cool my EJ9 once was to me. EK9 replica roof spoiler. JDM-styled (aka bronze coloured) Barracuda wheels, cheap-ass Type-R Replika lipkit, Lazer muffler, and so on. All the cheap parts for a cheap car but still love the look. Nowadays…

  • EJ9: New tires and steelies

Had some heavy vibrations on my daily EJ9’s winterwheels due tue a big unbalancable inbalance due to a hit one day ๐Ÿ˜› One day i came a cross a cheap set of OEM steelies so today i went to visit my friend Lars to swap the tires and have a lesson in tire-swapping, changing tire-valves and balacing wheels. thanks a lot for taking your time – learned a lot today and was kinda fun ๐Ÿ™‚ Ej9 Loaded with 2 complete sets of wheels / tires: Changing them ๐Ÿ™‚ Need to make a spotlight on Lars’ Slalomracing SW20 MR-2 fun tool ๐Ÿ™‚

  • EJ9: OEM 15″ EK3 steelies and hubcaps for next winter season :)

After i heavily hitted a stone last winter my winter-rims (which are cheap “Storm titanium” brand and came with the car 10 years ago when i bought it *lol*) had a huge dent which wasn’t repairable so i decided to have a look for a cheap replacement. And then these OEM EK3 steelies 15 inch including OEM Honda Hubcaps popped up on Hondaholics, so i decided i’ll get them for 50 bucks and that’s exactly what i did. Need new winter tires anyway for next winter season, so perfect to trash the old defective wheels (which cause terrible vibrations above 120 km/h) and ad some OEM flavour istead ๐Ÿ˜€

  • EJ9: Electrical problems pt.I – found

Well After my crash in summer i got a new (used) rear hatch installed. Since then none of the hatchback’s electrical functions (rear wiper, window heater, 3rd brake light, licence lights,..) ever worked. As im into electronics at my daily work i decided to take my Multimeter and measure. These are the two connectors above the right rear wheel housing (below the speaker holes), that connect the hatchback harness with the rear-harness: here i’m measuring the connectivity – wire seems broken.. and this is what i found out: Seems like the hatch wire harness is broken or cut apart.. At the red connectors (Same as in first photo) all the…
