EK9: The Overhaul, pt. 3
I have a week off and decided it’s best to “finish” the EK9 project, so i can put it in hibernation. At least I’ll finish all the work i can do myself. 240Z: Another big NOS parts delivery
I managed to get another load of rare old, but new (NOS = New-Old-Stock) parts for the 240Z. Most of the parts are something i wouldn’t have bought new since they’re just small bits and pieces, but when i got the chance to obtain the whole lot, i couldn’t refuse. ATENZA: Rear damage accident
This week i was involved in an accident. I had to brake hard because of a car in front of me did the same and two guys crashed in my rear when i had to brake from 100 km/h to zero. The reson why i write this post is to remind everbody how important it is to keep distance and buckle up! It was morning i drove to work when out of nowwhere the car in front of me broke hard. 240Z: New rare NOS parts in & news from the Bodyshop
Soo, the Z project is slowly picking up speed again. I was able to purchase a bunch of NOS parts from a nice elderly guy lately and they arrived today: So what is inside those boxes? First of all a set of NOS Akebono rear drum brake pads. I think i have now three sets of NOS pads, and one Project Mu 🙂 A set of original headlight rubber gaskets in excellent condition. I think i bought a good aftermarket set once, but these are of course the real deal. An original battery tray mount metal frame. I think i have the rubber / Plastik kit for it, so now…

240Z: Vintage 240Z & Datsun Magazines Lot arrived
Recently i managed to get hands on a massive lot of vintage Datsun / Z & ZX club magazines and memorabilie. The value of those is questionable, since it’s mostly not official Datsun / Nissan, but still a nice piece of history. and i bet those have become rare. I don’t know yet what to do with those, but i’m definitely going through them one by one over the winter days and maybe put them up for sale in different packages. So what did i get?
