240Z: New weld-in cable clamps + Window roller repair kit
Despite work beeing a bit crazy and me don’t finding a lot of time to work on the cars, i at least managed to get some parts for the next steps. First of all a set of weld-in cable clamps for the bodyshop so they can replace the old ones which became quite brittly from the many years and have been painted over several times. Some go into the engine bay and hold the original wire harness, while some go besides the seat, to hold the internal wire harness… Then i got a window roller repair kit all the way from australia. i was not sure what to expect when…

HISTORY: Honda Civic “Hot-S”
Recently i stumbled on a vintage Honda Ad for sale online. which was called the: Honda Civic Hot “S” version. I was quite surprised to see that there was a version modified by Honda switzerland sold long before all the EK4 special versions (known as F1, Rallye and Type-S). This represents a 2nd. gen “SL” chassis After digging a bit deeper, it seems the hatchbacks then got an additional roof and front spoiler, reclining “sports” seats, vented brake discs, additional stabilizer bars, additional racing stripes, and Aluminum wheels, etc.. PLACE: A quick visit to the Audi Museum Ingolstadt
To be honest im not really a VAG guy, but when the opportunity arose to look around the Audi Plant on a recent business trip (to another company) in the lunch break, how could i turn it down? The plant itself is a massive city full of huge buildings and halls, but i forgot to take some photos. When i asked if there is a museum (to plan a future visit), the question quickly turned into a spontanous visit with my host and colleagues.
