OTHER: Datsunworks L-series Twincam head
Lately everybody is going crazy about the OS-Giken twincam TC24-B1Z Head for the L-series Engine. and to be honest me to. It’s the holy grail. However a few days ago i discovered another option which is also interresting. A guy called Derek aka Datsunworks is currently working on his own Cast / Milled DOHC head based on a Honda K20 Head design. Coming from the Honda community i know how capable these heads are and probably they’re a great base for an N/A engine. 240Z: Garage Cleaning, front brakes & Moustache bar removed
I have a truckload of parts on my way from Japan, but other than that i don’t have too much news. Im going to be out of country most of the time of the rest of the year for some business trips and some long-needed vacation. However i wanted to get some stuff done before i leave and mainly it was about cleaning up the mess in the garage. However if the original owner of t he swiss HAKO likes to get in touch with us, feel free to contact us at any time 🙂 First a Genuine Hakosuka C10 Coupe which was recently imported from Hiroshima, what the reader told me. Not sure if it’s a genuine GT-R Or not (I don’t think so, regarding the prices an S20 equipped car costs these days, even in japan!), but still a beauty! OTHER: Visiting the Famous “Autofriedhof Kaufdorf” Car salvage company
My Datsun Buddy Stefan Asked me if i’d like to visit another Car parts salvage company and of course i’m always in for some Interresting parts-digging even if i knew there won’t be any Z-parts. you never know what you find. And mainly the incredible amount of classic car parts attract me even if there isn’t anything to buy 🙂 But first i stopped by Stef’s and manuels garage and had a visit at his projects.
