MEET: Toyota Old- und Yountimertreffen 2015
Due to my crazy work schedule at the moment i don’t have time to work on my cars so therefore the lack of updates. Hower Rene from https://crown-custom.blogspot.ch/ was kind enough to let me share his pictures from the toyota old and youngtimer meeting in Auswil (Switzerland), which was organized by Tolis.ch i think. EVENT: 4th annual Toyota Young- and Oldtimermeeting in Auswil
Honestly i’ve never heard about this Event before, but i stumbled upon the Flyer when browsing Rene’s Crown-custom blog It sounds very interresting and promising. Sadly i won’t be able to participate, but if someone is there and takes some Pictures, let me know. I’m Highly interrested to see what kind of cars show up there. Toyota always had a big fanbase in switzerland and besides the Celica’s and co there are still plenty of old Family sedans, wagons and small coupe’s around, but you rarerly see them except at some are Events. this may be one of them 🙂 However, here is the Flyer:

240Z: Unfolding the bottom door fold / seam
As regular reader, you might know i plan to bring a few panels and stuff to professional paint stripping soon so i’m preparing a few things. Talked to my bodyshop guy yves, about this and he recommanded me to open the fold at the bottom of the door to get all the rust removed and see how it looks inside. As he’s the professional and i’m not i do whatever he says. First i needed some special tools. An Unfolding plier for bodyshops and a spotweld-romver drill. So this is how i started. ATENZA / 240Z: Kenstyle steering wheel & Bride seatrails arrived
Perfect timing for my birthday: Just got a delivery from Japan: 1) A Kenstyle steering wheel for the Atenza project: 2) And a Bride Seatrail to fit the Bride histrix seat into my Z. Driver seating is complete now 🙂
