So Winter is coming closer and since i start to have more time again for my car project i decided to first prepare my Mazda for wintertime before i go back to work on my Datsun (Well have some news coming soon :D)… So one big problem of modern mazda’s is Rust on exposed underbody areas and hollowparts of the car, because it seems that’s where mazda seems to save all the money. So a few carguys mentioned i should really add some protection before (Snowy and therefore salty) swiss winter starts. So i did. And as my friend with the same car (well a prefacelift Mazda 6 GJ) was there and allready had a few rust-dots (3 year old car or so) i was happy i did this while the car is brand new. And umm ok, i didn’t do it myself but my friend stefan Made it for me and he did a great job. All plasticpieces where removed and all the hollow parts filled, using a Lance and all the exposed and critical area where covered too, before the plastic was added again 😉 . Hope this shit will last forever 😀 So the pix until now are showing the “Before” state while all the following show the “After” state (With the plastic covers still removed): Next project is Winter-tires for the Mazda and then cranking up the Datsun project again 😉
