ATENZA: Introducing Project Atenza GJ / Mazda 6 Station wagon

Yesssss! Finally after owning and daily driving my Civic EJ9, 90 Horespower-monster (:D) for more than 12 years, it’s time for a more practical and mature replacement. I’ve been test-driving cars for a while now and after a while i made the decision to buy the actual Mazda 6 aka Atenza in January. Then i figured out the facelifted and technically upgraded version will be released in March so i saved some extra pennies and went to the local Mazda dealer a few weeks ago. After comparing prices for a while i gave them the OK to prepare everything and today i finally signed the contract 🙂

Yes, i’ll soon be driving a Mazda 6 / Atenza Station wagon. Gasoline fuelled, with a stick. In beautiful arctic snow white 🙂 More details will follow when the car arrives. This configuration is not on stock at mazda switzerland and actually this car is so brand new on the market that they had to order it from the factory in Hiroshima, which means it will arrive here in late june or July. Well, seems all my car projects afford some patience, but it’s kind of funny to know that there is a car being built in Japan to your specification with your name tagged on it already 🙂

If you read the title as well you may have noticed the word “PROJECT”, which means i have a few plans for this car. Nothing extreme (I have other projects projects to complete as you know *lol*), but i have a order-list in Japan waiting for release. But i’ll wait until the delivery of the car comes closer. All of my cars need some light customizing at least 😛
