Friends: René’s latest addition: Another S800 with a famous previous owner :)
You’ve read about René’s super nice Honda CRX AS and S800 Roadster restorations on this site befor. However i just wanted to add his latest addition. Mostly because of a pretty famous history 😀
This Car was owned by yasuhiro watanabe …. soichiro honda`s son! So it’s definitly a piece of honda history. And as far as i know René this will just be another one in the line of top-end restaurations. But now let’s see the pics:
I’m pretty sure Rene got all the documents to prove, but the sticker on the rear should be a hint about the prominent previous owner 🙂
Oh at it might look good at first sight but as you can see this car has been used hard, so it will need (and as i know René also get) a full restauration. Cant wait to post more about this one 🙂

well, this restoration will take a lot of time.
first, i will complete the s800 roadster….. so be prepared to get no news on that project for the next months ;-).
i`m still trying to get in touch with family watanabe, what seems to be pretty different.
i won`t give up, there`s still hope.
