  • FRIENDS: Jerome’s Datsun Violet A10 SSS (Datsun 160J)

At the classic car parts shop i was last week i met jerome petitjean. His family runs the famous swiss zcarracingteam which races hillclimbs in a pretty wild 240Z, but also restored a lot of nice Z’s, hakosukas and other datsuns. He also owns a nice 510. But at the parts shop he arrived with his daily Datsun Violet A10 SSS (Datsun 160J). Pretty nice car for a daily driver. made some shots of it and thought you might like to see them:

This car has been imported from UK (what i believe) with a bunch of other JDM cars but actually…

  • EK9: Wheels & Suspension legalized, New armrest eliminator, Mirrors reinstall 1

Today was quite a bit an EK9 day: 1) Took the car to the MFK (Aka MOT / Tรผv) to register the wheels and suspension and get it legalized and passed everything so it’s all official and safe now ๐Ÿ™‚ Fun part was the guy there had to remove the wheels because the data was stamped on the inside of the wheelย  hub *lol* 2) Decided to remove the top fuel mirrors again and install them in a better way, because the double sided 3M tape which came with them suck on an non-flat surface: bought some special installation glue for mirrors and haven’t installed them yet but tried a…
