FRIENDS: JDM Neighberhood cars

It seems like the JDM-Scene is growing rapidly here in Switzerland. a while ago when i imported my EK9 i was one of only a few with real JDM cars, but  now a Nissan Skyline or something similar doesn’t seem to be really rare anymore.. But somehow most of these cars aren’t street legal, are “just” UK-imports and usually have some sad un-JDM mods..
Here a little selection what i found around a few kilometres around my home:
a shop called “street performance” which is actually building a 1200HP street legal Supra MKIV had these cars outside in their parking lot..

As i checked by today again they had this well known Fast&Furious style (not my thing..) Eclipse outside. a true showcar but somehow just too much ugly blingy-stuff and no performance – not my taste at all…

The skyline has been there for a while now, but still no numberplates. I’ve been told they also tune a JDM RX-7 FD3 at the moment, but haven’t seen it so far.. THe skyline runs some D2 brake calipers and a few nismo parts. Will definitly need a lot of work to get it street legal whe the swiss law..

this Skyline is outside another little “italian Garage” and has been there for long while now. i’ve seen it on the streets with garage-numberplates so it’s definitly unregistered. It’s a R32 GTS-T and not in the best condition if you have a closer look.

They used to have a mint-green Celica GTfour and an R33 too back in a while.
Not sure what to say about these shops. Just seems like everybode is jumping on the JDM-train now when they figured out people like me were able to get these cars street legal. but most of them just don’t know how much work it is, so many of these cars ramain unregistered when people figure out what needs to be done to get it registered. This makes me sad. but on the other hand it’s nice to know there are at least two skylines in my neighberhood, haha 🙂
