SOLD: Datsun 240Z / S30Z Fairlady Z WingsWest “California” rear wing spoiler

When i bought the Z the car had this aftermarket rear wing spoiler installed. it’s made by an unknown manufacturer (i think european brand), in good condition, used, painted red.

Wings West fiberglass parts are made by combining a fiberglass cloth with resin, and hand laying it onto a (open) female mold. There are two processes for making fiberglass parts, chopper-gun and hand-laid. Wings West only uses hand-laid which is more labor intensive than chopper gun but the quality of the fiberglass is far superior. Fiberglass parts have a gel coat (primer) surface, which can be sanded and painted on. A primer coat is usually required before painting. Fiberglass parts may crack if they are stressed or impacted. Fiberglass body kit parts usually require pre-fitting onto the car before they are painted and installed.
